Please see below for final information about the conference.

– Final programme and workshop information

The final updated programme is available for download from the website: programme updates include confirmation of our final workshop with Mischa Hewitt and Dr Tina Holt looking at case studies on area/community retrofit in Brighton and Nottingham respectively.

Speaker biographies and workshop synopses are also available for download: http://www.aecb.net/featured/aecb-conference-2015/

– AECB World Café

In addition to the workshop sessions, join us for the AECB World Café on the Friday evening before dinner. Roundtable discussion topics are likely to include: Community based retrofit, Performance monitoring, Ventilation, The work of the AECB and CLR but bring along your own ideas.

– Exhibitors

The following companies will be exhibiting at the conference this year: CORE, Dri-Eaz Products, Green Building Encyclopaedia, Green Building Store, Inno-Therm, Isoquick, Magmateach and Passivhaus Trust.

– Sheffield Design Week and Pedalhaus Tour

The conference coincides with Sheffield Design Week and the School of Architecture’s degree show so there is plenty to see and do around Sheffield over the weekend. Then, on the Sunday after the conference, Chris Herring, Green Building Store Director, will be leading a Pedalhaus cycling tour for AECB members around four recent Passivhaus and retrofit projects in the Huddersfield area. There is more information on this via the website.

Please note that although online booking for accommodation at the university has closed it may still be possible to book a room.

Please contact Karen Purvis (conference@aecb.net | 01993 831859) to check availability.

See you next week!

Fran Bradshaw, Julia Bennett and Geoff Stow
