Incorporating nature into our buildings is important if we are to enhance local biodiversity and take advantage of a range of other benefits such as: improving the environmental performance of buildings through intelligent use of shading, managing water etc… Covering design considerations for improving biodiversity, living walls, green roofs and a vision for connecting both climate and the landscape to the built environment, this session debates the win/wins of incorporating nature considerations into building design.
