Post-event email from the event organiser
A huge thank you for your participation at Kingston’s first ever Efficient Homes Show!
I was delighted to see that all exhibition spaces were very busy as you were talking with our enthusiastic residents. 435 people registered to attend and speak with you about technology and services that could help to improve their homes, reduce their energy bills and protect the environment.
We’ve already had some great feedback from residents who left the event with a better understanding about what they could achieve for their home or budget. Also, we heard some positive feedback and suggestions from businesses and I would be grateful if you could please complete a very short survey about your experience. It will take you 2 to 4 minutes to complete it. This short survey will help us in organising similar events and accessing the necessary funding.
I would like to highlight the important role that Hollyfield School played during this event. They offered us the school facilities for free and a number of staff members spent Friday afternoon and Saturday at the school to assist us to set up the venue and ensure that we had all the necessary equipment.
I was really impressed and grateful for their generous support and I thought I should share with you Hollyfield School’s Account number for any donation you are able to provide: ECEDAT T/A The Hollyfield School, Account no: 77763068, Sort code: 30-94-77, For Reference please add KEHS and your company name.
A big thank you to the South London Partnership for covering the expenditure of £2,500 for the display panel booths and Canbury Works for covering the cost of £250 for breakfast. A contribution of £350 by the council covered the cost of cleaning, electricity and other material used by the school for the delivery of the event.
