Revisited National Self-Build & Refurbishment Centre Swindon
Revisited National Self-Build & Refurbishment Centre Swindon
Met with the centre manager (it is now owned by the staff) had the visitor tour (minus the Tommy Walsh audio which is recommended, and minus the visitor barcode reader) to see lots of existing and new features, explored the design information zone and the product village and the Innovation centre.
Explored the opportunity to have a low cost presence in the centre.
- A GBE display panel, with barcode for the visitors barcode reader, with an touch screen tablet allowing exploration of the GBE Website seems an appropriate and simple presence.
- Apple’s recent announcement of the larger lap-top sized iPad sounds appropriate.
Occasionally added to by my presence on show days.
- I could watch how people use the website to see if its working the way I had hoped.
- An opportunity to engage consumers with Horizon 2020 2015-bio-based-industry-joint-undertaking/ project?
I hope to have a presence there from January 2016.
