About:
Version 1 of the book saw BrianSpecMan‘s hand drawn building element assembly sections converted to CAD files converted for inclusion in the pages of the book.
During the update of the Book Dan Ward has added to and updated the original drawings to 2D annd 3D CAD files, SketchUp 3D view, as well as those in the pages of the book.
The abition is that RIBA Publishing will permit GBE to publish the CAD files directly, this has yet to be negotiated, since it potentially complete with book sales and the potential website dedicated to the book.
We will let you know when the book’s website is launched and the CAD files become available.
In the mean time the specification clauses for the first edition of the book are already available.
