Dry Laid Reclaimable Ceramic Floor Tiling

Dry Laid Reclaimable Ceramic Floor Tiling
About:

I saw this at 100% Design 2014 exhibition

I promoted it at Ska Technical Committee during development of Higher Education scheme.

I mentioned a dry laying system for ceramic tiles alternative to adhesive and grout

Here is the link (that did not work today)

(Page not found, I have emailed them about the website not working)

This could prove to be useful in certain applications.

My only query would relate to the cleaning of the tiles.

Would this system have the potential for moisture potentially getting between the joints and beneath the tiles?

Rubber mounts could be watertight but room perimeter trimming of mounts probably leaves the system vulnerable.

These parts would need to be cut accurately (not a problem for a tiler with new tool) and vulcanised jointed or adhesive jointed.
