BLP Butterfly
BLP’s BUTTERFLYBrianSpecMan worked closely with BLP Insurance as a technical advisor on the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) funded Butterfly Project. The project created a low carbon design and decision tool that quantifies both economical and environmental impacts for new and existing dwellings over the whole life cycle. BrianSpecMan was on an advisory panel for two years, introduced BLP to Robert Klashka of Studio Klashka to explore a BIM interface for Butterfly and sought to facilitate a merging of ambitions between GreenSpecSTUDIO and BLP Butterfly.
